Tricky Ol Puss is the People's magician.  Since his inception in 2005, he has strived to direct his audience's attention toward entertainment and camaraderie. He is not here to fool the masses, but rather to unite and spread the word. His unique blend of sleight of hand, absurdity, and spoken word create an aural and visual sensation so intense; you'd think you were at a dubstep show.  Ol Puss has been featured on stage in Las Vegas, Cairo, Chicago, and Timmy's 5th birthday party.

2014 will be the 6th year Ol' Puss has graced the stage of the Soulshine Tent; each year captivating a larger and larger audience and using more and more assistants.  This year he brings a whole new bag of tricks and his assistants will be none other than the unstoppable positive momentum of _whysowhite_

Chicago funk/hip-hop group whysowhite released their self-titled debut album in February 2013. Well received by listeners it shot to the front page of popular social news site Reddit, #1 on Bandcamp with featured coverage on Jay-Z's Life + Times. During SXSW 2013, whysowhite played several showcases including a supporting set for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Headlining dates at Chicago venues like Subterranean, Double Door and Martyrs followed with a main stage performance at North Coast Music Festival in Chicago.
whysowhite started off 2014 recording a session with Audiotree.TV and releasing a music video for fan favorite "Get Busy." As a result Ruby Hornet labeled whysowhite as one of their "Chicago Acts To Look Out For in 2014." whysowhite will wrap up a 17-date national tour in March 2014 with a stop at SXSW. The group's sophomore album is slated or Summer 2014 with national tour and festival dates to be announced.

With the powers of O' Puss and _whysowhite_ finally combined; the world is literally their oyster. A delicious briny cup of malleable goo. Come watch them shuck it.
